XRP Ledger network developers are preparing to release the xrpld software update version 3.3.0, which is expected as early as next week. The release will include five proposed amendments to the protocol.

Particular attention is being paid to two features that were temporarily removed from operation after researchers discovered serious bugs within them. The identified vulnerabilities theoretically allowed attackers to conduct unauthorized transactions or initiate unjustified fee draining.

The return of these tools became possible only after their deep reworking and the elimination of the discovered security defects. The update aims to restore network functionality without compromising the protection of user assets.
