Ethereum has finalized the Frame Transactions function as part of the Hegotá upgrade. According to a CoinDesk report, this feature is intended to allow users to pay transaction fees without necessarily holding ETH.

Based on a brief description of the publication, the function was included in Hegotá last month. Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin stated that work on it has since progressed rapidly.

The significance of this change cannot yet be quantified: the source does not provide activation timelines, implementation details, or usage conditions. The next important signal will be confirmation of the function's readiness and its actual appearance on the network.
