Gracy Chen, CEO of cryptocurrency exchange Bitget, announced the company's intention to begin operations in the United States market. This decision marks a departure from the previous strategy, under which expansion plans in this region were postponed back in 2022.

Platform leadership emphasizes its readiness to execute this expansion regardless of the enactment of federal clarity legislation, known as the Clarity Act. The company no longer ties its entry into the American market exclusively to the existence of specific regulatory acts.

This statement signals a shift in priorities for the exchange, which previously exhibited caution regarding the US jurisdiction. The focus is now shifting toward active steps to launch operations, notwithstanding current regulatory uncertainty.
